IN-LHC is a leader in the field of aircraft braking components, thanks to its unique expertise on pressure control servovalves and hydraulic manifolds. Back to 1967, IN-LHC developed the anti-skid servovalves for the Concorde. Since then, we have been adding more than 40,000 servovalves flying all over the place on single-aisle aircraft, long-range, wide-body, business jets and very light jets.
Either on full brake by wire systems (pressure increasing with current) or as an anti-skid device on conventional system (pressure decreasing with current), the braking servovalve is the last stage which directly feeds the brake with hydraulic pressure. This hydraulic pressure is accurately related to the electrical input, adjusting the braking torque to the wheel speed and the landing or taxiing conditions.
Latest generation design is able to operate in various system configurations and failure cases. Even more important, IN-LHC has specifically developed and patented a very low leakage design that brings value to any future “more electrical” aircraft. |
