IN-LHC designs and manufactures flow control servovalves and Hydraulic Modules dedicated to Nose Wheel Steering Systems. These sub-systems usually include Electrohydraulic servovalves, by pass valves, solenoid valves, pressures switches or transducers and compensators of IN-LHC design or specification.
In order to steer the nose wheel assembly according to the pilot's input, the EHSV meters the flow directed to the actuator chambers in response to electrical signalling, while the by pass valve controlled by the solenoid valve set the module in active or stand by mode. The pressure switch or transducer feeds back the pressure level, and therefore the operating mode, to the control unit. The compensator along with the null leakage check valve keeps pressure and fluid quantity inside the system to the right level, whatever the configuration. Various auxiliary valves can be added to protect the system against overpressure or cavitation.
